Welcome to our Folding@Home statistics!

Folding@home is a distributed computing (DC) project designed to perform computationally intensive simulations of protein folding and other molecular dynamics (MD), and to improve on the methods available to do so. It was launched on October 1, 2000, and is currently managed by the Pande Group, within Stanford University's chemistry department, under the supervision of Professor Vijay Pande.

Enter Alaska

I've just completed a major overhall of the Razer codebase. We're now running a lean OLAP schema which is happily processing hundreds of teams far faster than the previous iteration. You may notice a few bugs here and there whilst we optimize the back end but I thought it was stable enough to take Razer offline and move towards Alaska.

Enjoy!

Server move and bug fixes

It's well overdue but I have finally moved the statistics to a dedicated server, you should receive no more 500 errors.

I've been busy bug fixing and generally making sure everything is working as it should. If you find any issues or have any thoughts please let me know at: MilesBurton.com

Get ready to syndicate...

If you're a budding developer and you'd like to write some cool Folding@Home applications and widgets, take a look at our Codename Razer SOAP Web-Services.

Good too meet you ;)...

This'll probably be the first time you've had a chance to read what we're really trying to achieve here at MnetCS. Many people may have already been aware of our original connotation of the Folding@Home Statistics. We’ve been working really hard to get everything up to speed and eventually move to “Production” status.
For those developers out there we’re going to open up and document a list of APIs so we can see some great third-party apps!
We believe Standford needs all the support they can get to drive popularity for a great cause and we’d like to help. We have some fantastic features on the way which we’d love to hear your opinions and suggestions.
At the moment we’ve stopped work on the front-end feature drive as we’re focussing on a new database schema and data access layer (our host is based in the US and response times are proving a pain!).
Anyway, this has been rather quick and dirty for my first post so apologies from my brevity – check back soon as we progress. If you have any comments, feel free to post on our new message board.
